The objective of analyzing the economic impact that the fact that women do not have the same opportunities has on society. To this end, it prepares bimonthly reports in which it studies the existing gaps in the areas of health, pensions, digital environment, conciliation and co-responsibility, leisure, tourism, consumption, mobility, employment, education or disability, among others. It should be noted that as part of its commitment to equality and the contribution to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, MAPFRE has recently signed the adhesion to the Principles of UN Women, the United Nations organization dedicated to promoting gender equality and the empowerment of women, to which a total of 3,139 companies in the world currently belong; in addition to being recognized as the only insurer with the Gold Distinction for Labor Equality and Non-Discrimination.
With these actions MAPFRE continues to contribute to raising awareness in the private sector to promote equity, as an achievable challenge in which the insurer works intensely with a strong, ethical and social commitment, which it has maintained for 90 years in more than 40 countries.Given the difficult situation that thousands of small businesses face today as a result of the health emergency, Grupo Modelo, through its Z-Tech initiative, dedicated to strengthening the growth of small and Guatemala Mobile Number List medium-sized businesses through technology, announced an alliance with Tienda Pago to grant loans to more than 100 thousand shopkeepers who today have no access to another source of financing. It is worth mentioning that in Mexico there are more than 1.6 million small businesses, known as “tienditas”, which support more than one million Mexican families and which today are going through significant challenges to maintain their operations. Therefore, thanks to Tienda Pago's business model, together with the scale, scope and relevance of Grupo Modelo, this alliance will provide access to financing digitally, quickly and easily to a huge segment of the population that has not achieved a credit with traditional banking, thus contributing to promoting the democratization of credit in Mexico. Grupo Modelo makes this financing option available to its shopkeeper allies, while the evaluation of the application is evaluated by Tienda Pago. Approval is done online and in less than 1 minute shopkeepers will be able to know if their application has been approved.
