The adoption of tools for the design of flexible, effective but above all economical interfaces has a considerable impact on the results and quality of the work.Here is a list of free UI development tools that we have selected and that we use daily for the development of our web and mobile projects. However, if we focus on those that have quality icons, a large selection and are completely free, the selection is drastically reduced.

Supports SVG, PDF, Polymer, XAML, CSH conversion and basic glyph editing. Very convenient for creating your own CSS icon sets. hThe Noun ProjectThe largest online collection of icons ever . Thanks to The Noun Project you have access to millions of SVG and PNG icons for free. If you are looking for very high quality icons and vectors to use but also to modify, this site is an essential resource in the UI designer toolbox.Wireframing and Design ToolsLet's then get to the heart of the tools for the actual development of user interfaces and UI design. In this field every designer has her own preferences. In particular, drawing tools such as Sketch and Adobe XD are widely used platforms, however our choice is still directed towards free UI designer tools .Figma SketchThis tool is fantastic.





It has become indispensable for our entire team and has quickly replaced a whole series of tools that were previously indispensable not only for the creation of the design , but also for the prototyping and presentation of the projects to the end customer. Describing Figma here is very difficult given the amount of features it has. The tool is completely free and is also available in desktop version for Mac and WindowsDraw.ioAmong the free tools for UI designers, this tool occupies a special place as it allows you to create and share diagrams of all types (sitemaps, flowcharts, architecture, interactions, relational database schemas, etc.). These types of diagrams are fundamental in the design and implementation phase of a digital project as they allow you to schematize the flows, interactions and all aspects of application routing, then sharing the created diagrams with other developers or customers.
